There are two ways of getting admission into the M.A History programme offered at various institutions/universities –
Entrance Test Based – Many universities conduct an entrance exam for admission into the M.A History programme. On the basis of the entrance test scores of the candidates, final admission is granted by these universities/institutions
Merit-Based – Under this process, the universities/institutions consider the marks secured by the applicants at the qualifying exam level to grant seats in the M.A History programme. This process is also known as direct admission process.
