D.Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent to be eligible for D.Pharm admissions.
  • A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.

D.Pharmacy Admission Process:

  • Admission to Diploma in Pharmacy is done on the basis of entrance exams conducted by universities that offer this course or through state-level diploma entrance tests.
  • Candidates must have passed class 12 exams with science in order to take admission in this programme.
  • Some institutes also offer direct admissions to these courses i.e. without conducting entrance or state level exams.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) - Course Overview

About Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

Bachelors of Technology often referred to as B.Tech, is a four-year full-time course that cover different fields of engineering and technology. The course is designed to develop the technical skills of aspirants who wish the work in the core technology and development sector. B.Tech comprises both theoretical and practical knowledge. Students are also offered hands-on training in order to learn how different software and hardware in their respective fields are operated. Apart from the core engineering sectors, B.Tech enables candidates to work in the Information Technology, Data Analysis, Consultancy and Management sectors. With good technical skills, Bachelor of Technology graduates can also apply for jobs in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and other jobs in the government sector.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria required for admission in B.Tech is as follows –

  • Min Qualification Required: 10+2

  • Min. Marks Required (Aggregate): 50% to 70% varies from college to college

  • Age Limit: Some colleges and entrance may have an age bar for aspirants who seek admission in B.Tech courses. Candidates should not be more than 24 years of age counted from the date of the examination

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) Syllabus

Engineering Mathematics is the common syllabus for all B.Tech specializations in India. However, other subjects vary from one specialization to others. Basic concepts of Physics and Mathematics are similar across all specializations. For example, some of the subjects in Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering are similar. Similarly, some of the subjects in CSE and IT may be same. 

B.Tech Admission Process

  • Admission to B.Tech programmes is done on the basis of engineering entrance exams. Admission to centrally funded institutes is done on the basis of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

  • Admission to state colleges are done on the basis of other regional/state entrance exams.
