For each undergraduate, postgraduate, or any other higher education course, an aspirant needs to go through a selection or admission process. The Bachelor of Mass Communication (BMC) admission process can be completed in one of two popular methods, namely, entrance-based admission processes or merit-based admission processes. - A counseling-based selection process is common under both entrance-based and merit-based admission processes. This method of selection is also commonly opted by Universities with numerous affiliated or constituent institutions.
- The respective institutions will release the appropriate merit lists containing the names of the candidates with their ranks/scores.
- Depending on their ranks/scores mentioned in the merit lists, candidates will be called to participate in the counseling process.
- The counseling process will require shortlisted candidates to choose the college and course of their choice.
- As per the preferred choice of course & college and with the candidate’s ranks/score along with the vacancy in the respective seats, candidates will be offered admission to the course.
