About Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
Bachelor of Design (B.Des) is a full-time four-year degree course (spread across eight semesters) which is offered by many top design institutes in India. However, there a few selected design colleges in India that offer B.Des as a five-year course as well.
Candidates who pursue a degree course in Design are trained on the latest trends and technologies that are incorporated at various levels of the designing process. Students are not only provided knowledge through theory classes but are also kept engaged in the classroom through regular workshops, exhibitions of their own work, seminars, fashion shows etc.
