About B.A. History
Bachelor of Arts in History or B. A History is a two-year undergraduate degree program that teaches the students how human civilization evolved to the present time from prehistoric times. Throughout the duration of the program, the students get to know about the global and Indian major historical events. By the end of the course, a History graduate has more than just knowledge about culture and society and what are those factors propel the development of a civilization namely power, religion, economy, culture, etc.

B.A. History Eligibility Criteria
10+2 qualified students from a recognised Board and any stream who have an aggregate of 50% or more at the qualifying exam level are eligible for the B.A History programme offered at various Indian universities and colleges. Some universities, however, specifically demand the applicants to have studied History at the 10+2 level as a part of their eligibility criteria.
Admission Process
All the reputed Universities or colleges conduct an entrance exam for the purpose of admitting students in their B. A History program. Some institutions also conduct an additional personal interview round before granting final admission to the candidates.
